Atlântico is a non-profit organization, considered a national point of reference for its high quality and efficiency in the Information and Communication Technology area.
Founded by CPqD in 2001, the largest telecommunications research and development center in Brazil, Atlântico is well-known for its innovative R&D and Consultancy Projects for the Industry, Government and Finance sectors.
The institute’s units in Fortaleza (CE), Sobral (CE) and São Paulo (SP) employ over 290 skilled and dedicated researchers, many of whom are recognized experts in their fields.

International Expansion
Based on this corporate philosophy, Atlântico has been able to broaden their frontiers. To meet increasing foreign market demands, CPQi came into existence, as the result of a partnership between British Firm Economics and CPqD. Today CPQi has several customers in countries such as England and Holland.
