The Use of Artificial Intelligence to Handle Complex Tasks and Intelligent Maintenanc

For the creation of an intelligent system for maintenance, we must observe the following steps during development:

Object detection

The creation and training of computer vision models to detect equipment and assets that we want to be observed. For use on mobile devices, we should look at neural networks or methods with adequate inference timing for those devices.

Equipment status recognition

Identification and classification of the current state of the equipment. Different techniques can be used in this step. Computer vision algorithms that make visual identifications through images, together with the processing of data coming from the equipment’s sensors can provide information that identifies the current state of the equipment. Tip: Observe how humans identify and classify these states.

User Interface

Displaying the results to the user is one of the most important steps in this process. In industrial areas, any user restrictions or precautions must be observed, such as personal protective equipment (PPE) and physical maintenance environments, among others.
